Why is Obama Protecting Dick Cheney

The Spanish government is starting proceedings to indict 6 American, former Bush administration officials. My question is, why isn't President Obama taking this action as required by law? President Obama has consistently said he wants to look forward, not backward. That is not a choice he has, according to law he is required to investigate and charge those responsible.

This video for Countdown with Keith Olbermann with law professor, Jonathan Turley, explains why the United States needs to change course and prosecute the Bush administration officials, including Bush and Cheney for these crimes.

So you'll be calling for O'Bama's head to be guillotined with Cheney when he is prosecuted, for complicity in war crimes and cover-up after the fact?

I presume at least the impeachment of O'Bama - after all, covering up a war crime is a high crime?

Chetly, I have faith that Obama (without the apostrophe) will do the right thing and appoint a special prosecutor.

Actually, I hold the citizens of the U.S. just as responsible as our leaders if we do not encourage the administration to take action against the war crimes committed by Bush/Cheney.

It's embarrassing that Spain is taking the lead on this and not the U.S.
